Welcome to Yaarnz TV

Yaarnz TV is an independant Joint Venture between Paul Sinclair and Warwick Moss. Paul is a descendent of the Anaiwan people of North-West NSW and has had experience in many areas of education, training and mentoring, including Aboriginal Education Officer at Sydney's Taronga Zoo. Warwick is a television producer with over 30 years experience in all facets of the industry.

Yaarnz TV was formed in May 2007 with the specific aim of producing short, low budget stories, told by or based on indigenous people.

In June 2007, the new National Indigenous Television Network NITV, commissioned over five hours of Yaarnz, hosted by Paul. They were delivered and proudly commenced airing from the Launch date of NITV, July 13.

A Second Series of Yaarnz was commissioned by NITV and a further 16 hours of content was delivered in December ’07.

In 2008, thirty two hours of Yaarnz will be delivered to NITV.

The strict guidelines of the NITV charter ensures that any material delivered by Yaarnz TV will be respectful of indigenous people and issues. That is also the charter of Yaarnz TV which in good faith and only after obtaining proper approval and release, aims to share a variety of indigenous stories from the past, present and future with all Australians.
